She goes to the same university as my boyfriend “D”. D always has to save Molly from her drunken “situations”. There are nights he can’t talk to me because he has to go carry her home. She tells D to go to her room to get guys out of her room. Basically, she is TOO defendant with my boyfriend and frankly, I’m starting to get uncomfortable. 5 times has she interrupted from D and I talking, once she took his phone and drunk talked me.
D an I are not getting a long lately due to stress, and I honestly feel like Molly is starting to cause it. His whole FB page is covered with Molly affiliation and she always leaves weird stuff like “Why are you always right>!” and what not. Now It may be because I see her as an enemy that I look at things more wrong now. but today really cut it for me (there is many more things that bothers me with her actions towards D but Its too long)
Today she left this on my boyfriends page and it really made me uncomfortable.
“so we have been having pretty philosophical conversations lately. I find them rather intriguing” Im sorry, but If your in a long distance relationship and your already sketched out on a girl…that look REALLY weird.
Im basically on GF probation so my sister decided to ask what it was about and she decided to be a sarcastic bitch basically and tried to out smart her, and what she was saying sounded weirder, as if there is a secre between them.
So I decided to talk, just act friendly and what not just to see whats up, She said it was nothing and started talking about how she knew him so much long ago, but really they were babies when they met (D didn’t even remember this) and I’ve been friends with D for 8 years, and she just kept going on and on about them two and what not. So I decided to say my side too,
Then she went off and said how she “studies people” and basically told me how Im insecure about her taking my boyfriend and everything, It was the bitchiest most weirdest thing I ever heard! that Cunt said stuff like how im saying stuff to keep my man and all this shit and I was beyond piss!
Like do I have every right to be mad? I think this alcoholic cunt is starting to squeeze and affect my relationship and just getting too into herself, I can’t handle this anymore, I don’t know what to do. Im angry! PISSED!
Today is my last night in Ukraine in general, and to be honest, I’m not really thrilled to go back to the States and to get back into reality.
I went to see my Grandpa’s University, its huge, and glorious, so vintage and grand! I also visited a church which was filled with golden statues and vibrant old-style paints and marble-like wall structure. The rest of the time we strolled around a park, there was a special kid who would bark at people he walked by, he was really funny.
Tomorrow, Ill be heading to Kiev by train, then taking a plane to Amsterdam. We stay there for about 13 hours then we take an 8 hour plane ride to Detroit, stay there for 5 hours or so, then fly to my small pathetic town. I don’t want to return, I wanna adventure longer. I don’t want to return to job hunting, deal with people I don’t get along with, my best friend who’s being dramatic, and some boy situations. Really not thrilled at all.
It was great seeing my native land, to see where my mush and tato grew up, seeing Chernobyl and Prypiat, hearing the language my mum grew up and just adventuring and experiencing Ukraine in general. I really hope I can visit Ukraine in the future. Oh Ukraine <3
I’ve spent the whole day in L’viv, this is the city my grandpa lived in. It’s really gorgeous here, I can see why he chose to live here, I’d almost rather choose this city over Kiev, but that’s a tough choice. (Mayyyybe L’viv <3)
Mainly we stride around the city, also went through a museum (outsdoors) in the same replica my grandma lived it, it was pretty intense, she was a hardcore farmgirl and basically lived in wooden huts. Tomorrow, we’re going to go see the University my grandpa went to, which for me I’m pretty excited about. There is also a restaurant we may go to where I’ll have to take a shot of vodka. Absinthe is also LEGAL here, pretty intense Ukrainians, pretty intense.
Tomorrow is also my last day in Ukraine before I have to return home, I’m really upset about it.
I am now in Yaremche’. It was only an hour drive from Ivano-Frankivst. We passed a lot farm land and towns, which were really content and cute looking. I saw two goats jumping around, which made my heart melt. Yaremche’ is very country-like. Only the hotels are biggest here and a lot of them are rebuilt, the rest are farm-lands and small buildings and lush green areas and gardens. Its very gorgeous here, the weather is starting to warm up and the plan for today is to just walk around and soak in the farmland.
Yaremche’ is the closest area we can get to my grandmothers homeland. Her area is a lot more desolate, only farmland and homes, but it just wasn’t safe for us to go because it’s part of Poland.
My mum says im very much Ukrainian like. Im not into small talk and I like to get to the point in things and be blunt. That is how Ukrainian people are, they’re not rude, it’s just their culture, and I love it. Only 5 more days, and I’m not ready to leave at all.
I met a stray dog, she was friendly and followed me around the town. My new friend :)
After three days in wonderful Kiev, we took a 10 hour train ride to Ivano-Frankivst. The train ride was quite the experience, I slept decently and the toilet room was just a nightmare I wish to ignore.
Ivano is currently cool and rainy, we are only here for one day. The next place we are heading to is the closest we can get to my grandmothers town without the hate crimes. After these two days we head to my grandfathers city town. (Mush was a farmgirl while Tatu was a city boy, they met in germany)
The plan for that day was to walk around the town area. We went to a little cafe and I have a cappuccino and taramisu’. We went through the market area which sold everything you could think of, one sold raw meat while the booth next to it sold panties and bras. The town is smaller than Kiev but bigger than my home town back in America. It’s also more west so the locals speak pure Ukrainian. (Unlike Kiev, where there is a wide range of russian and ukrainian.) Just walking around the town area was peaceful and fun.
I don’t have internet all the time so here is my quick update.
Kiev is a glorious city! I enjoyed it much more than New York. The buildings are so vintage and old, yet the city in general is so modern. The people here to quick and to the point, but they are also very nice. If you don’t know any ukrainian or russian it really is impossible to get around. The driving is also insane here, if your into road rage this is not the place for you to drive. I wish more cities looked like this back in America, I wish we could of kept a lot of the old time buildings and just refurbished them through the years. Oh, an the food here is awesome, I love borshe.
Went to Prypiat and Chernobyl on Thursday. The place is beautiful and such an experience to be able to go into the abandoned city! We were able to go inside the abandoned building, a middle school, apartment, industrial area, super market, and kindergarten! Pictures will be up after the trip and I will link my sisters Flikr page since she will have more. Overall I was so happy to go there and what a mind blowing expirience. I would love to live there. The normal radiation points is .1-.3, In Chernobyl and Prypiat it averages from 12.5-35.5. Ill never forget that day, how I would love to move to Chernobyl in my olden years.
Overall, I walked around the city a lot, went to a ballet, and viewed a lot of churches and old areas. Shopped one day, but a lot of days we just ventured through the city. I miss the business of people and the city life.
Heading to Ivano-Frankivst after this.
On one negative point I also lost my phone in Ukraine. But it’s okay because it blacked out when I left so I was already useless.
I am currently in Amsterdam waiting for my next flight out to Kiev which will take about three hours. It took eight hours to get here and I got no sleep what-so-ever. Amsterdam is pretty cool, many languages are getting spoken right now. It’s currently 10:35 am here so it around 4:40 am back at home.Nothing much is going on, just waiting for the next flight.
When I arrive in Kiev, the plan is to adventure around town for a while, or until we get tired. I’ll try to post pictures when I talk about these trips too.
Starting tomorrow, my blog will be mainly about my trip to Ukraine. I’m stoked to go there and start a new adventure. The reason we’re going is because I mother (Who is Ukrainian) wants to find her family roots and wants my sister and I to learn more about our Ukrainian-blood (I’m only 2nd generation born in the US so I’m 50% Ukrainian). Ill be going to Kiev and other places, including Chernobyl. I’ll have many photos hopefully to post.
